Intake Orientation

Students assigned to the DAEP will participate in an orientation session with their parent or guardian at the time of registration. After completing registration and orientation, the student will attend a Culture Class on their first official day of attendance.

During the Culture Class, students will receive instruction on the rules and expectations at Harper DAEP High School, as outlined in the DAEP Handbook. They will also be informed of the academic and behavioral standards required for success within the program, as well as the criteria they must meet in order to return to their regular campus.

Student Withdrawal

As a student approaches the end of their placement at Harper DAEP, their counselor will reach out to the parent or guardian to inform them of the student’s completion date and the appropriate time for withdrawal. Upon withdrawal, the parent or guardian will be given the necessary paperwork to submit to the student’s home campus.
