Mission and Vision
Mission Statement |
At Harper DAEP High School, our mission is to give every student a learning experience that help them grow academically and also develop physically, emotionally, and mentally. We want all students to have the chance to get a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) that offers our students the skills they need to live and work in their communities, not in a group home or sheltered setting. We believe that doing well in school and growing emotionally are both important. We want to give each student the right support and chances to reach their full potential in school and in life. |
Harper's Philosophy |
At Harper, we believe that education should equip students with both the knowledge and life skills necessary to navigate and succeed in a rapidly evolving world. Our educational approach emphasizes the development of self-sufficiency, confidence, and character. We strive to foster a strong sense of self-worth in each student by nurturing initiative, responsibility, and resourcefulness. Through a structured and respectful learning environment, our faculty and staff are dedicated to guiding students to become informed, empowered, and productive individuals. We recognize that success is a shared responsibility and we are committed to building a culture of mutual respect among students, educators, and the community. |
